Trissel's is the bible of compounding stability. This book is a must for any compounding pharmacy. You MUST have some way to back your claims of stability. When the newer editions come out, but them. Stay up to date.

gold mine of compounding formulas

If Trissel doesn't have the formula, then I am not likely to make it. Data on expiration dates and alternative formulations are all together here. It is difficult to find data in print (if not here) because of the scattered nature of other compounding information.
