NICE ADDITION TO YOUR PICTORIAL DISNEY COLLECTION, BUT A LOT OF REPEATED TEXT AND PHOTOS FROM PAST EDITIONS!

I'm a fan of Walt Disney and his many creations. I've been going to Disney World since it opened in 1971. I wanted some pictorial books and started with Disney World The First Decade and this 15 Year Anniversary editions. This book has more text than I expected and for someone who knows a fair amount about Mr. Disney and his theme parks I was surprised how much information was in this book, even some things I wasn't aware of.
The hard cover book is bound nicely (thou the white cover may scuff easily) and the pictures inside give the reader a good idea what WDW is all about. From the various lands, the landscaping, the buildings design, the resorts (at the time), the utilidors and complex systems that run this happiest place on Earth.
Since I own the First Decade and 15th Anniversary books too, I found that this book does use some of the text and photos from those books. It does however add MGM Studios which wasn't built at the time of the last book's release. There are lots of new photos though and expanded text on the many changes to WDW. The section on the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT aren't as elaborate as the First Decade book or the 15th Anniversary so all of these are recommended.
It's a short book with 168 pages. I read this leisurely in a couple of hours, but since I was expecting a pictorial with very little text I was pleasantly surprised. Of course Disney has released others including The First Decade, 15th Anniversary and 25 years editions which expand on this edition.

the pictures are still fantastic and the information is still interesting

My parents bought this book for me at the Magic Kingdom when I was a kid. I was feeling nostalgic and living abroad, so I searched for it and re-bought a copy. As soon as I opened the box I was transported back to my childhood. Even though the book is now somewhat dated, the pictures are still fantastic and the information is still interesting.
