Informative and good references to cases

Used this book for a paralegal class. Informative and good references to cases. People expect these nutshells to be more comprehensive than a book of this size allows. It's good for an overview. It's up to the student to review the cited cases to get a deeper understanding of a particular area. The slight downside to this book is that the writing is a bit airy, it uses a lot of $5 words, and seems more theoretical than necessary. It is also devoid of bullet points and other text modifications that help definitions and key points to stand out. Would definitely recommend this for law school students though. Paralegal students, on the other hand, might be better suited with the examples and explanations series of books for their substantive law classes as they tend show more practical applications of the law.
